Cancellation policy

1. Basic provisions regarding cancellation (This is very important content regarding refund periods etc. Please be sure to check it.)

The entire amount shall be refunded (without any refund processing charges) if it is within the period during which cancellations are possible (set individually by each guide within the scope of five (5) days before provision of the experience) as described on each experience page by guides.
Furthermore, the periods during which cancellations are possible shall be calculated in Japan time.
* This shall not apply to cancellations owing to guides' circumstances after the approval of the experience, such as a no show on the part of the guide.
* The liability assumed by FellowTrip owing to the occurrence of cancellations of the Service / guides' no shows etc. shall be to refund all amounts with the upper limit being the experience fees.
* At the time of the successful agreement of an experience, a guide and guest shall be deemed to have agreed to the FellowTrip cancellation policy.
E.g. A case of a seven (5) day cancellation policy
In cases where Friday, Japan time, is the scheduled day for an experience, a guest shall be refunded the entire amount if he/she applies for cancellation by 24:00 p.m. on the previous Saturday, Japan time, (i.e., by 0:00 a.m. on Sunday, Japan time). Please note that experiences cannot be refunded, regardless of the reason after that time.
(Dates shall be calculated in the same manner "E.g. A case of a five(5) day cancellation policy", and this is used as the base for any kind of date calculations on the website.)

2. Cancellation method

From the list of "Reserved experiences", you can cancel using the "Cancel" button on the relevant experience.
After the periods during which cancellations are possible, the guest shall be liable for the fee. Please be sure to check the periods during which cancellations are possible when you request a reservation.

3. Responses to cancellations owing to guides' circumstances

FELLOW TRIP is a service that is formed of mutual trust between guests and guides. Therefore, in order to guarantee the quality of services, in the event that the following cases occur, we shall have the right/authority to delete the registration status of a User without prior notice:
- A cancellation owing to a guide's circumstances after the approval of an experience shall be made by one (1) week before the date. (In this case, the entire amount for the experience shall be refunded to the guest.)
- In the event of a cancellation owing to a guide's circumstances after the period noted above, the following cases shall be subject to membership termination in accordance with the Terms of Use and Membership:
Cases of cancellations three (3) times within one (1) week before experiences:
In cases of a no show report from a guest.
